What is Mortgage Mediation?

Mortgage Mediation is a legal process for owner occupied primary residences in Washington State under the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) Section 61.24, whereby, as licensed attorneys we can submit a demand for mediation between you and your lender with the Washington State Department of Commerce.

Your lender must attend at the mediation with someone who has the authority to modify your mortgage and must negotiate in good faith before they can Proceed with the foreclosure process.
